Gé Spaans, Committee Netherlands Bazaar informed us, that unfortunately due to a lack of incoming contributions  (mostly COVID-19 related), the time has come to dissolve the Committee Netherlands Bazaar as of the end of February 2024. Over the past 70 years, the Committee Netherlands Bazaar has brought joy to many less-fortunate families by providing them with food parcels, and food gift certificates and sending hundreds of less-fortunate children to one-week summer camps.

We applaud the Committee Netherlands Bazaar for their tireless efforts in supporting the less fortunate among us.

PLANS FOR 2024

SAVE THE DATE: Sunday, May 5, 2024!

It seems that our members prefer not to drive to functions anymore. Also, the cost of organizing an event with a small attendance in a hotel ballroom has become very expensive due to high food costs and room rental charges.

We are going to organize one big event to celebrate the NLC’s  70th Anniversary and the 79th Anniversary of the Liberation of Holland by the Canadian Army, in cooperation with Dutch Canadian Veterans and other Dutch organizations on:

Sunday, May 5, 2024, at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, 9280 Airport Road, Mount Hope (near Hamilton) Bus transportation to be provided. Details to follow in due time.

44 Bartlett Drive, Seguin, ON, P2A 2W8.
